DVR & Quick Notification
Security gatehousestaff writes "Please notify gatehouse staff of any crimes or suspicious activity that occur, due to the fact that the 4 camera-DVR unit can only store approximately 7 days of historical data. In addition, gatehouse staff can make a report to the Home Owner's Association that can greatly improve secruity for all residents within the community. "

Security & Safety Alert: Iron Gates - After Hours
Security gatehousestaff writes " As a courtesy reminder, when entering through the black iron gates, after regular hours, unauthorized vehicles or pedestrians could and may attempt to follow your vehicle through the gate after you enter.
{The gatehouse columns by the overhang are wide and could hide an unauthorized person.} {Please remember that the residents gate is on a timer, NOT a motion sensor. From the time it opens, by remote control or by decal, to the time it begins to close is approximately 9 seconds.} To prevent someone from following you in, simply PAUSE after entering the gate by 10 feet, to block the path. The trailing vehicle will then have to back up to clear the gate path or else risk a collison with the gate. {The sign reads, "Violators pay damages"} Remember only one vehicle should enter at a time, unless you are certain the second vehicle is authorized and there is enough time for them to enter before the gate begins to close. {There is a sign that reads, "Only one vehilce at a time"} If a vehicle does enter on your access and it appears to be a trespasser, and NOT a resident, please contact a HOA Officer, to determine whether or not a Seminole County Deputy should be dispatched to check on the suspicious vehicle. PLEASE, do not attempt to get out of your vehicle and check on a suspicious vehicle or person. Also, remember to always drive with your doors locked.
This article is intended to keep Lake Markham Preserve as safe and secure as possible.

The average cost will be $28 each, but it could be more or less depending on how many orders we receive. Payment must be made by check, made out to the Lake Markham Preserve HomeOwners Association.
